Does NOT PROTECT ANYTHING!! The first time our 3 year old leaked through her pull-up it soaked straight through!! Don't waste your money!
Not the best
I bought this product based on the review written by the owner of a queen waterbed. I too have a queen waterbed that is hard to use fitted things on. I ordered the California King, as this person had, but received a King size. We were able to get it on the bed okay, but with oodles to tuck in. It didn't stay tucked very well but that's not my point. We had this pad on our bed for about 3 weeks. We noticed we felt like we kept "sticking" to the sheet. Since it was a new problem on a bed we've had for years, we suspected the new pad. I took it off and washed it hoping it was just some kind of fabric treatment causing the problem. It didn't help. I also noticed that the surface of the pad was fuzzing up quite a bit. After only 3 weeks I had to wonder how the pad would look in a few months or a year. Since we were still sticking to the bottom sheet, I went to Target and purchased a queen size 100% cotton pad (for 1/2 the price of this pad) that accommodates mattresses up to 18...
