Functional, time will tell...
The item arrived fast with all of the pieces and nothing was damaged. It blends well with my actual granite counters and is the perfect height for my furniture. It was relatively easy to put together (took me less than 30mins on my own) but I docked it a point for the following reasons:
-the instructions would be overwhelming for someone that hasn't put furniture together before (step 1 had about 10 actual steps in it). It would have been nice to get some direction about which beam should be attached first. Also, I'm pretty sure step 3 should have come before step 2.
-the last 2 screw holes (securing the tabletop to the frame) didn't line up, so the screws won't go in. It seems sturdy enough without them, but I might have a handy friend screw new holes just to be on the safe side
-the beams on the frame prevent you from pushing any bar stools under the table. In a small space it would be nice to store my bars tools under the table, but that's not an option with the...

Super table, looks very good in my tiny kitchen, it helped open up the space. Very fun to eat at and enjoy looking outside and watching the birds.
